Pack of 2 dual-layer PP spun sediment filter cartridges, 5-micron, 10 inch. A coarse outer layer and a denser inner layer trap sand, dust, rust, silt and mud in stages — more thorough filtration and higher dirt-holding than a single-density spun filter. Fits most standard 10" pre-filter housings. Protects and extends the life of your RO membrane.
What it does
A spun sediment filter is the first stage of protection for your RO purifier. This 10" polypropylene melt-blown cartridge traps sand, dust, rust, silt and mud before they reach the finer filters and RO membrane — cutting the load on downstream components so they last longer.
Dual-layer gradient density
The cartridge is spun in two graded layers. The coarser outer layer captures the larger particles first, while the denser inner layer traps the finer sediment a single-density filter would miss. This 2-stage, gradient-density structure filters more thoroughly and holds more dirt, so the cartridge lasts longer before it needs replacing.
